Course Overview
The Year 9 Mathematics & Science program builds confidence and mastery in key concepts while encouraging analytical thinking. In mathematics, students tackle more complex algebra, geometry, and probability problems. In science, they explore real-world applications of physics and chemistry enhancing both theoretical and experimental skills. This year lays the groundwork for the higher demands of Stage 5 and Stage 6 study.

Our Teaching Approach
All classes from Year 7 to Year 10 are taught by Sid, providing consistent guidance and a clear understanding of each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. Lessons are interactive, encouraging students to participate, ask questions, and develop confidence in their learning. Our program follows the school curriculum closely while building skills for future exams, with regular revision to consolidate knowledge. Sid focuses on showing students how to think through problems step-by-step, helping them build strong foundations, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude towards learning.
