Frequently asked questions(FAQ)
Why 3SN Education?
We run only one batch per subject, ensuring each student receives focused support.
Sid teaches most students across all year levels, bringing consistency and deep subject expertise.
We take the time to know each student personally and help them reach their full potential.
Shalu motivates and mentors students, while also providing parents with comprehensive feedback.
Unlike large franchises, we are a family-run centre, committed to nurturing every student’s success.
When is the right time to enrol?
The simple answer — the earlier, the better.
Early enrolment gives students more time to strengthen their core skills.
Students are better placed to secure spots in top HSC & High School Maths, Science, and English classes in their school.
Starting early helps nurture a genuine love for learning in a relaxed, supportive environment.
I have taken both Maths Extension 1 and Advanced Maths in school. Do I have to enrol in both the courses at 3SN Education?
Students enrolling in HSC Maths Extension 1 will also need to enrol in HSC Maths Advanced, as these are two separate subjects at school. Many Extension 1 topics build on concepts from Advanced Maths, so studying both together is essential for a strong understanding and success in Year 12.
Do you offer free trials?
Yes, we offer a free trial class. We recommend booking the trial towards the end of the current term, so students can begin fresh and in step with the class from the start of the next term.
Is there homework help?
We provide homework help sessions for Maths and Science. These are relaxed, supportive times where students can freely ask questions and get guidance from our experienced tutors.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
We understand that students may sometimes miss a class. Please note that:
We don’t provide credits for missed lessons.
Class recordings are available soon after each class, so students can easily catch up at their own pace.
If extra support is needed, students are always welcome at our homework help sessions for additional guidance.
Why does Year 11 start in term 4 of Year 10?
Starting the Year 11 program in Term 4 of Year 10 gives our students a strong head start.
It allows us to be ahead of school content.
Students have more time for revision before school assessments.
This approach has shown proven success over the years, helping students feel confident and prepared.
